Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a rollercoaster. Black jack is a game that kicks off slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you slowly build up your bankroll, you feel as though you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you don't expect it, the bottom drops.

Blackjack is so remarkably like a wild ride the similarities are frightening. As is the case with the popular amusement ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will be going well for a time before it bottoms out yet again. You must be a black jack player who can adjust well to the ups and downs of the game simply because the game of black jack is full of them.

If you like the little coaster, one that won't go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a larger wager, then hop on for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big money player will love the view from the monster roller coaster because he/she is not thinking on the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it's going up, that's a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.

If you do not, you might not naturally remember how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a nice ride ... your head in the stratosphere. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won't recall how "high up" you went but you will recall that catastrophic drop as clear as day.
