Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely thrilling at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years back with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
