Once I don't win I lower the bet back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a number of months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
