Blackjack is a game that evokes images of a wild ride. It's a game that starts off slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you build up your bank roll, you feel like you are getting to the top of the coaster and then when you don't expect it, the bottom falls.

Blackjack is so akin to a rollercoaster the similarities are alarming. As with the popular fair ground ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will appear as though they are going well for a time before it bottoms out yet again. You must be a bettor who's able to readjust to the ups and downs of the game given that the game of black jack is packed full with them.

If you like the small coaster, a coaster that won't go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a bigger bet, then hop on for the rollercoaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high roller will love the view from the monster wild ride because he or she is not thinking on the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it's going up, that's terrific, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.

If you do not, you may not necessarily remember how much you enjoyed the good life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a mad ride and your head in the stratosphere. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won't clearly recount how "high up" you went but you will be reminded of that catastrophic fall as clear as day.
